Black organza silk jacket with tiny bandhani dots and gathers at the side and back and a shawl collar. The front and collar of the jacket feature appliqué work in a chevron pattern accentuated with beadwork. Paired with a black silk top and pants. The jacket is free-size.

This project aims to create work for a group of women from Pindharada village, Gujarat, who have been recently taught sewing by SOACH NGO as part of a livelihood generation initiative. The appliqué embroidery is done by a separate group of women artisans who work from their homes in Ahmedabad.
