Description

The abho is a classical kurta shape from Kutch which is characterised by its long straight silhouette that flares out gently, and a prominent yoke with a pointed bottom. It is often made using Bandhani and the more ceremonial pieces are embroidered on the neck and along the seams.


This pitta work abho uses a base of midnight blue silk organza with tiny batik dots. The body is fully lined with a soft cotton mulmul while the sleeves are transluscent. Worn with silver tissue wide trousers and organza silk tikki dupatta.
