Description

This Abho features a design that is inspired by a traditional garment from Kutch with the same name. It consists of an impressive embroidered front panel and kalis. Small dots of couched metal are beaten down with a wooden mallet to reveal a dense grid-like pattern ending with a pendant on the yoke. The embroidery, which also appears on the cuffs, is further embellished with beadwork. The organza silk abho has a small round neck and flares out gently to end at calf-length.

The organza silk dupatta has gota borders further embellished with beadwork and zardosi. The field of the dupatta features a large floral buta (motif) outlining the shape of a diamond that sits naturally on the back of the wearer. Paired with organza silk sharara pants.
