Description

This Abho features a design that is inspired by a traditional garment from Kutch with the same name. It consists of an impressive embroidered front panel and kalis. Small dots of couched metal are beaten down with a wooden mallet to reveal a dense grid-like pattern ending with a pendant on the yoke. The embroidery, which also appears on the cuffs, is further embellished with beadwork. The abho has a small round neck and flares out gently to end at calf-length.

Paired with an organza silk dupatta with a co-ordinating large central motif and zari cotton pants.
